Tony Press writes fiction when he has questions and poems when he thinks he has answers: thus, mostly fiction, but a fair amount of poetry.. His story collection, Crossing the Lines, was published by Big Table and an e-chapbook of his poems appears online at Right Hand Pointing. He claims – remember, he writes fiction – 25 criminal jury trials, 12 years in a single high school classroom, and several nominations: Pushcart (twice), Best of the Web, and the Million Writers Award. He enjoys the San Francisco Bay from his window, and he knows how fortunate he is.
