Laura Weiss is an author and journalist with work published by Bright Flash Literary Review, The New York Times, NPR, Travel + Leisure, Publishers Weekly, Interior Design, The New York Daily News, Food Network, and many others. Laura was a reporter for CQ Weekly covering Congress and national politics. She was a writer for TIME’s school edition, news editor for School Library Journal, a writer for Library Journal, and an editor of Zagat Long Island Restaurant Guide 2009- 2011. Laura was a nonfiction book reviewer for Publishers Weekly and is a reviewer for Bellevue Literary Review. She was also an adjunct professor of journalism at New York University. She is the author of Ice Cream: A Global History (Reaktion Books/University of Chicago Press 2011). Ice Cream has been translated into Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
